Action Meeting (8 July 2007)

A first meeting was held at the Mui Wo Recreation Centre and the "Protest Ferry Merger Alliance" was introduced.

Hon. Wong Kwok-hing announces a public meeting with a representative of the Transport Department has been organised for July 12, 2007.

Elected Island District Councillor Wong Fuk-kan announces the Alliance's actions: a signature campaign, a sit-in protest, a hungerstrike and a rally to Central Government HQ.


The public attending was willing to subscribe for further actions.
